Free March Madness Picks: Elite 8 Saturday
By Ron Jumper

With the tournament finally starting to get interesting, I can't help but look forward to the Elite 8 matchups. Making my picks for this round is going to be rather simple, as all of my Final Four picks are still alive in the field of play.

NCAA Tournament Record:
15-12-1

UCLA (+2) covers vs. Kansas

The Bruins are playing great basketball and have an advantage because the game is in California. Meanwhile, Kansas had to hang on against Southern Illinois to advance. UCLA is another physical team that plays great defense, however, they are much better on offense than the Salukis. UCLA 70-65

Ohio State (-1.5) covers vs. Memphis

The Buckeyes have have survived the last 2 games, despite rough starts and foul trouble. They have learned how to win without Greg Oden dominating the game. This is important for the Buckeyes confidence. It is similar to how the Colts' confidence grew when they won in the playoffs even when Manning didn't have a great game. OSU 62-59
